السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته Alhumdulillah, it is through the help and taufeeq of Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) that we have been given this opportunity to systematically go through the  Quran in a manner that not only enhances and improves our knowledge of the Deen of Allah, but also spiritually draws us closer to Him(subhanahu wa ta'ala). Week 8 - 19 August 2020

Alhamdulillah with the grace of Allah (SWT) we are on our way to soon complete almost 1/3 of this journey of Connecting with the Quran. Around this time some of us might start to lose our motivation to continue as the initial enthusiasm wears off. It might help to remind ourselves that when we REALLY want to do something - WE DO IT! Reflecting on what we have covered in these past few weeks, it is amazing to see the extent of what we have already learnt. It is easier to understand now that if we make this book a guidance and a part of our lives, we will have benefits upon benefits, both for this world and the next. In sha Allah that alone could motivate us to maintain our enthusiasm for the rest of the course. May Allah (SWT) make it easy for us to continue learning from His Holy Book. Week 7 - 12 August 2020

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته Alhumdulillah with the help of Allah SWT we are increasing our connection with our Holy Book as every week progresses. We pray to Allah SWT that He allows us to further our relationship with the Quran to the extent that it becomes a guidance to the Truth for us in this world, a companion for us in the grave and a light to Paradise for us in the Hereafter. We also seek protection in Allah from the Quran becoming a cause of our misguidance in this world and a witness against us in the Hereafter, for there comes a verse in the Quran wherein it states that Allah misguides who He wills with the Quran and He guides with it whoever He wills. But He does not misguide anyone except those who are sinful. (2:26) We pray that Allah protects our hearts and our actions from anything that isn’t pleasing to Him, forgives our mistakes and our sins and makes us from the guided ones. Amīn. Week 3 - 15 July 2020

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. All praise belongs to Allah alone, Who has allowed us to complete Surah Al-Baqarah, the longest Surah in the Quran. This Surah is such that Allah, the Magnificent, has put in it the greatest verse in the Quran and has made its recital a form of protection from the Devil. Inshā Allah, just as Allah has allowed us to understand some of the motifs and themes of Surah Al- Baqarah, we hope and pray that He also continues to allow us to finish the whole Quran in that manner and make us from amongst the people of the Quran.
